Erotic Hypnosis is practiced by thousands of people. For many, the power dynamics are what attract them to hypnosis in the first place. For others, the manipulation of sensation and perception are the drawing forces. Whatever the attraction, this is a subject that people around the world find fascinating. As broad as the range of people who find it interesting, Erotic Hypnosis is an exciting subject that is partially shrouded in secrecy for a multitude of reasons. Hypnoticon recognizes that people can morally and ethically explore these subjects as consenting adults. We’ve assembled some of the finest hypnotic minds on the planet, many who are experts in the area of hypnosis for erotic pleasure and exploration. Some of our speakers earn their living from sexually charged trance. Others are serious hypnosis academics, who have explored these areas as an interest or a hobby, and are presenting their findings publicly for the first time. Others deal with mundane problems, but as they apply to the sexually alternative communities. We feel that these experts bring a much needed sense of professionalism to an interest perceived my many to be taboo. There will always be experimentation in these areas. Guidance and proper instruction will reduce problems encountered by the novice hypnotist, and an open dialogue only enhances the exchange of ideas and techniques. Who are these guests and where do they come from? Well, in order to present a well rounded sense of erotica in hypnorotica, we’ve pulled in experts from many areas. We have Panels with Hypno-Dommes, an Erotic Hypnosis show, lectures on power play and how to give an orgasm with only your words, a therapist specializing in the Alternative communities, as well as mainstream subjects that are sexually charged for some people. Body Language, Covert Hypnosis, and Influence, while not overtly sexual, have always been mainstays in the Seduction Communities. Our workshop exploring deeper trance states may be just the thing you were looking for to spice up your play. As I recently found out at a very large and well known, uptight hypnosis convention in the Northeast United States, many of the best lessons are off the cuff and private. After a hard day of trancing and being tranced, several of my new found hypnosis friends and I got on the subject of erotic hypnosis and orgasms. After a brief discussion of theories and techniques at nearly midnight, we secured a more than willing volunteer, and found an unused lecture hall. The ensuing demonstrations, given by these internationally known hypnosis experts was fantastic! These techniques, captured on video, would be worth a small fortune. Unfortunately, these things have always been taught and discussed behind closed doors. One of the driving forces behind the creation of Hypnoticon is to bring these subjects out into the open, for all to learn and enjoy. I’m sure we’ll have our share of “private” demonstrations and discussions. With the open environment, I just can’t imagine what sorts of ideas will be discussed in private… can you?
